17) Elevator Trim Tab Linkage Wear

1. Check mounting holes in Trim Tab (item 8) p/n 1532009-3 where actuating Arm (item 10) p/n 1432015-1 is mounted. If worn at (items 11, 12, 14) either repair or replace Trim Tab.

2. Check mounting holes in actuating Arm (item 10) p/n 1432015-1 for elongation or other wear, replace if worn.

3. Check Bearing p/n PN-3A in Arm (item 10), if worn replace Bearing. If Arm base metal is worn allowing Bearing to move/rotate inside the Arm, replace Arm.

4. Check holes in Push Rod (item 17) p/n 1432016-2, if worn replace.

5. Check Link Arm (item 20) p/n 1432022-1 Bearings p/n PN-3A as in step 3.

6. Check holes in Link (item 22) p/n 1432023-1 for wear, if worn replace.

7. Ensure new bolts are used for re-installation and lubricate bearings liberally.
