16) Elevator Bellcrank Wear – LH Vertical Stabilizer

1. Check elevator Bellcrank ( item 39) p/n 1562010-2 for wear and/or distortion.

2. Check Bellcrank Bearings( item 46) p/n MS27640-3A, if worn replace Bearings. If Bellcrank base metal is worn allowing Bearing and bushing to move/rotate inside Bellcrank, replace Bellcrank.

3. Check Bushing assembly (item 44) p/n 1432009-2 for wear/movement, if wear/movement replace bushing.

4. Check center Bellcrank Fitting (item 45) p/n 1462010-3 and Bearing p/n B610 for wear, replace as necessary.

5. Check center Bushing (item 47) p/n 1432009-3, Fitting (item 45) p/n 1462010-3 and Bearing p/n B610 movement/rotation inside the Bellcrank base metal, if so, replace Bellcrank.

6. Check Rod Arm (item 48) p/n 1462011-5 for wear or distortion, replace if necessary. Check Rod end (item 52) p/n AN490HT8P and Clevis (item 51) p/n AN486-3 for wear, replace as necessary.
